Hi and welcome to Disabilities at Suite101. My name is Megan and I'm here to help with any questions or comments you have. I'm just an email or forum post away.
On this site, we will discuss the different types of physical disabilities as well as all relevant topics. These discussions will include media and perceptions, architecural and attitudinal barriers, the ADA, the latest medical advances, treatments, the newest technology and assistive devices and advocacy.
We will also be offering advice on how to find the best assistive equipment, how to handle the obstacles that accompany disability, dealing with personal care attendants and living life to the fullest.
